Miller and Carter Restaurant and Bar

exterior view of miller and carter restaurant in cardiff bayMiller and Carter is a new restaurant in the Bay close to the Red Dragon Centre and the Future Inn. It’s a chain restaurant specialising in steaks.

We visited in the afternoon and had the lunch menu (available 12noon – 6pm) which offered two courses for £8.95 on a reduced range menu.

I had the Caesar Salad as a starter which was good but maybe a bit minimal, and a steak for main which was excellent.

The atmosphere in the restaurant was chic but the prices are reasonable. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Signor Valentino’s

An Italian restaurant on the upper level of Mermaid Quay.  Our favourite Italian!

It’s perfectly situated on the upper level with excellent views across the Bay.  Ask for a table overlooking the bay when you arrive if they have one free.

The food is great and the whole place has an authentic feel to it. There’s excellent service from charming Italian staff.
